UNL Bee Lab  Year 1 - Beginning Beekeeping

Part I (Lecture): 

When:  Sunday March 17th, 2024

Time:    9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Where: Classroom at Schramm Education Center, Gretna, NE. Located on Highway 31, approximately 6 miles south of Exit 432 on I-80

Part II (Field Day): 

When:  Saturday April 6th

Open Apiary
Hands on experience at Live Hives

Open Apiary sessions are a great place to get hands on experience.   These sessions are a part of The Great Plains Master Beekeeping program.  These Open Apiary sessions are held at different locations across Nebraska and also regionally!  If you've been thinking about getting into beekeeping but would like to get a look at live bees to help you get a feel for things, these are for you.
